\u201cBECAUSE GOD IS LOVE\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves
has been born of God and knows God.  8  Whoever does not love does not know God,
because God is love.  9  This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one
and only Son into the world that we might live through him.\u201d (1 Jn.4:7-8)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devotional Reading: I John 4:7-21<\/strong>
\u201cGod loves you!\u201d we are told in church every week. It\u2019s so often repeated, it\u2019s in danger
of losing its potency!\u2026 NOT that it\u2019s truth is diminished \u2013 but that we become numb to
its power, or grow unaffected by its impact! Here are two (2) aspects of God\u2019s Love
that we should never forget:<\/p>\n\n\n\n


1<\/strong> – God\u2019s Love for you isn\u2019t caused by something in you or around you – it is ALL on
Him!\u2026 His unchanging attributes! While we were still living in sin, Christ died for us
(Rom.5:8) We didn\u2019t earn His love, and we can\u2019t hinder it! God loves you because He is
God and He is Love!
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2<\/strong> \u2013 God\u2019s Love is eternal. There\u2019s nothing that can separate us from His love for us in
Christ Jesus! (Rom.8:39) He chose us before the foundation of the world (Eph.1:4) and
therefore assured that His care is there \u2013 and will always be there\u2026 for eternity!
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can absolutely trust God and His love! Jesus demonstrated that love by dying for us
and saving us from sin. He promises to stay and redirect us when we stray! Whether or
not we feel it, God\u2019s faithful Love surrounds and protects us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
