Together with the rest of the Christian community, WIN Seattle celebrated its most important holiday of the year – Resurrection Sunday, last Sunday, April 20. After a joyful time of celebration in song, the children made a heartfelt presentation to bless the congregation – thanks to Sis. Pam for getting them ready for this.
The celebration continued with a mini-Cantata put on by the church choir accompanied live by members of the Music Ministry. Sis. Rosemarie’s efforts in preparing the choir were well appreciated and the congregation was blessed. Pastor Vino preached the word soon afterwards and related it to the songs.
The celebrations concluded with the customary potluck which, if history is any indicator, is always overflowing. Our lives are forever changed by the fact that our Savior is alive today which is the main reason we have joyous events.
