Christ at the Center of Christmas

Way before the days of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, God had been preparing for this moment! Promise after promise pointed to the day the Son of David would come – a king, an heir to the throne! “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). We mark that moment -when God sent God into the world – with the celebration we now call “Christmas”.

Almighty God broke into our universe as a Jewish carpenter, in fulfillment of His covenant promises. He came as the Son of David, the Son of Man, the Son of God – to deliver on His promise of salvation. Therefore, there is no truthful and suitable celebration of the Message and Meaning of Christmas apart from the Good News of Salvation in Jesus Christ! Look at what Luke says in Lk.2:11“For unto you is born this day in the city of Davida Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him”

(John 3:16–17)

Let’s Keep Christ as the Center of the Christmas Season!

Have a Great Week!
