On July 13th, Sacajawea Park in Federal Way served as the venue for this year’s first WIN Summer Sportsfest. Our Youth Ministry organized the softball and tennis games. We started the games late because a lot of folks were watching the World Cup football championship onscreen between Argentina and Germany (or, at least, the first half!)
Softball players were divided into two mixed teams (involving everyone – young, old, man or woman). Three innings was enough to determine a winner. For tennis, all the games were doubles games and pairings were voluntary.
We can’t wait for the Summer Sportsfest Part 2!
